Control Systems Engineer - Hydropower - Australia (Siemens PCS7 or Rockwell Studio 5000)

Your Responsibilities:
• Technical implementation of hydro power plant control systems using Siemens and Rockwell controller platforms.
• Develop system concepts based on project specifications and customer requirements.
• Lead hardware and software engineering throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Plan communication and network systems (e.g., IEC, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP) with a focus on cyber security.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Create and manage technical documentation, including signal lists, design reports, and as-built documentation.
• Perform on-site commissioning of control systems worldwide.

What You Bring:
• A degree in Electrical, Automation, or Information Technology Engineering. Alternatively, Technician-level education with relevant professional experience.
• Experience in control systems (Siemens PCS7 or Rockwell Studio 5000) is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); knowledge of German or additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel globally for regular business trips and on-site deployments.
• Strong analytical skills, results-oriented mindset, and excellent teamwork capabilities.
• Intercultural experience and the ability to adapt in diverse environments are advantageous.
