Job Description

Piper Maddox is seeking a Contract Manager in Leicestershire, UK, to enhance their procurement team for an international energy provider. The role involves procurement activities such as managing relationships with third-party logistics, warehousing needs, and plumbing and heating suppliers, as well as waste management. This position operates inside IR35 and is a full-time role without a degree requirement.

Piper Maddox are working with an industry leading international energy and services provider. They are looking at building out their procurement team to help deliver their projects on time and within budget.

The role will include Procurement activity (tenders, commercial negotiations, contracting, relationship management) supporting:

- Management of 3PL requirements and relationships i.e. movement of goods from warehouse to engineers and/or customers
- Warehousing requirements i.e. goods and services required for running an efficient warehouse (outside of IT - however an appreciation and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is valuable to the role)
- Plumbing and Heating merchant relationships i.e. routes to purchase goods
Management of waste collection and disposal suppliers
