Job Description

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is hiring a Conservation Center Program Administrator in Tallahassee, FL. The role involves working with a statewide team to promote conservation among youth through summer camps and school field trips. The ideal candidate should be passionate about engaging youth in outdoor activities related to fishing, wildlife, and conservation. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirements.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated statewide team that works to ‘create the next generation that cares about conservation. This group is made up of numerous conservation centers, a team of regional coordinators, the Project WILD program, and hundreds of Partners who work together to encourage youth in conserving Florida’s fish and wildlife. This team supports the delivery of summer camp programming and year-round school field trips which embody the four pillars of the FYCCN: Shooting Sports, Fishing, Boating, and Wildlife Discovery. In addition, the FWC Conservation Centers offer recreational programs for youth serving organizations through rental use of our facilities and support to FWC staff as training and meeting centers.
