Community Development Officer

Abri Group is seeking a Community Development Officer for a 9-month fixed-term contract based in London. The role involves developing and delivering community plans through research and data analysis to enhance social value. Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, and able to build rapport with stakeholders. While experience in community cohesion is not essential, strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills are required.

To continue the amazing success of our community investment projects, we’re looking for a Community Development Officer to join us for 9 month fixed term contract where you'll be based in London (W10) and covering the surrounding areas.

You’ll develop, coordinate and deliver sustainable and meaningful community plans through consultation, research and data analysis to identify where the right resources and needed the most in the community, ensuring social value and value for money is always maximised.

Whether it be with our residents, local authorities or our range of community partners, you’ll be able to quickly build rapport with stakeholders at all levels and have the confidence to negotiate and challenge where necessary, all with the end goal of delivery sustainable community investment projects.

Experience in a community cohesion role isn’t essential, but the ability to research and analyse data, think creatively to find creative solutions to tricky problems and deliver results is a must!
