Commercial Roofing Supervisor

CustomCraft Roofing & Construction LLC is seeking a Commercial Roofing Supervisor to oversee roofing crews on-site. Responsibilities include supervising job completion, reading blueprints, being the main contact for the general contractor, attending meetings, and ensuring safety compliance. The ideal candidate should have several years of commercial roofing experience and supervisory skills. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
EssentialFunctions & Duties:


· You’ll be on the job site for a majority of the day supervising our roofing crews to ensure the jobs gets done on time.


· Able to read blue prints.


· You’ll be the main “point of contact” for the GC on-site.


· Attend schedule meetings.


· If problems do arise, you should be able to communicate effectively with the crew, salesforce or office in a timely manner.


· You may need to run and get materials at times.


· You will be in charge of enforcing OSHA and safety policies and ensuring the work environment is safe.


Ideal Candidate:


· Several years off commercial roofing experience along with some supervisory skills.


· LeadershipQualities. You can’t be afraid to take charge and point out something that doesn’t seem right.


· ProblemSolving Skills. Don’t wait to be told what to do. Can you come up with solutions?


· CustomerService Orientated. A lot of our business is based on referrals and having a customer focus mentality will only generate more leads.


· Friendly and professional demeanor.


QualificationsRequired:



Minimum of 3 years’ experience in roofing industry.
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
Spanish speaking, desired but not necessary.

ManualSkills:



Working knowledge of construction tools. This will include a forklift, manlift, be able to access a roof using a tall ladder.
Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to safely, legally and consistently operate an automobile for traveling.
Ability to walk on a roof safely & comfortably.
