Climate Specialist- Fixed Term-Odisha

ICF is hiring a Climate Specialist for a fixed-term position in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, to support the PMU for CITIIS 2.0 under the Housing & Urban Development Department. Candidates should have a post-graduate degree in Environmental Studies, 12 years of total experience, and 8-10 years in urban development or climate change. The role involves conducting EIAs and field studies. The contract is for 2 years with a potential extension.
This role will be part of Hiring for setting up a PMU for CITIIS 2.0 under Housing & Urban Development Department Government of Odisha.



The requirements are as below:
Education: Post-Graduation degree in Environmental Studies ( in Environmental Science & Engg/ in Environment Science) or related disciplines from a recognized institution.
Total experience: 12 years
Minimum 810 years of professional experience in the urban development environment or climate change sectors.
Experience in conducting EIAs (Environmental Impact Assessments) social audits or community engagement.
Knowledge of national urban frameworks CSCAF.
Ability of Conducting field studies remediation and pollution control.


Duration: 2 year contract with an additional 1-year extension possible.

Contingent upon winning the bid.
