ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a Climate Change Coordinator in London to lead projects aimed at accelerating decarbonisation. The role involves ensuring compliance with energy policies, collaborating with various stakeholders, and developing innovative delivery mechanisms. We are looking for a Project Management Lead to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Project Management Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering projects that accelerate decarbonisation while meeting the needs of Londoners. About the Role The Climate Change Mitigation team works collaboratively with partners across London, nationally, and globally to embed and support action on climate change. The post holder will work closely with the team to develop new and innovative delivery mechanisms to accelerate decarbonisation. Job Description The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the process ensuring planning applicants comply with energy policies supporting the Mayor's target, set out in the current London Plan. This involves working closely with officers across the environment and planning teams at ENGINEERINGUK, engaging with key stakeholders including developers, consultants, and energy officers. Skills and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria: Research and Analysis • Gather and analyse relevant data and evidence to ensure strategy, policy, projects, and programmes are developed with a solid evidence base. • Translate research outcomes into concise, meaningful reports. • Identify relevant and practical research questions for the future.
