The Opportunity

As a clean energy financial analyst, youll work alongside our senior finance associate and chief financial officer to design and support innovative financing solutions for PSCs green bank and clean energy clients.

What Youll Do

Financial Analysis and Modeling

As a core contributor to PSCs clean energy finance work, youll:

Build and maintain financial models to support lending programs and investment strategiesConduct forecasting, along with scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate project risk and opportunitySupport underwriting and transaction evaluation through data review and preliminary risk assessmentsPrepare draft credit memos, investment summaries, and presentationsProject and Portfolio Support

To ensure strong execution across green bank and clean energy projects, youll:

Aggregate data and support portfolio reporting and ongoing risk assessmentsReview governance and funding documents and assist with compliance requirementsConduct market research on renewable energy trends and climate finance toolsSupport development of innovative financing mechanisms and programsAssist with lending procedures, grant applications, and policy researchProvide financial analysis for additional PSC projects such as economic forecasting and budget projectionsProfessional Growth and Firm Citizenship

Education

Bachelors degree in finance, economics, engineering, public policy, or a related fieldExperience

One to three years of experience in project finance, underwriting, investment analysis, or a related fieldProgress toward chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation is a plusTechnical and Professional Skills

Strong financial modeling, accounting, and quantitative analysis skillsAbility to translate complex financial data into clear, accessible insightsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project organization and time-management abilitiesKnowledge and Interests

Understanding of renewable energy, energy markets, and climate finance principlesInterest in policy trends affecting clean energy and public financeCore Qualities

Salary Range: $63,086$94,629 (based on education and experience)
