We are seeking a motivated candidate with a B.Tech (Biotech) or MSc in Biotechnology/Plant Physiology/Microbiology/Biochemistry (0–2 years experience) to join our research and operations team. This role combines hands-on aquaculture system management with laboratory-based seaweed physiology studies, supporting innovation in sustainable marine biotechnology.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain small to medium-sized aquaculture tanks, ensuring optimal water quality and system performance.Conduct laboratory experiments on seaweed physiology, including growth performance, stress response, and metabolite analysis.Collect, analyze, and document experimental data to support R&D projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate laboratory findings into aquaculture operations.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.Qualifications:
B.Tech or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Marine Biology, Plant Sciences, or related field.0–2 years of experience in laboratory or aquaculture settings (academic or industry).Familiarity with aquaculture system operation and basic plant physiology techniques.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.Preferred Skills:
Experience with seaweed cultivation or marine biotechnology.Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods for nutrient quantification.Comfort with both wet-lab experiments and operational system management.Why Join Us:
