Automotive Technician - Hybrid & Electric specialist

Galpin Motors in Los Angeles, CA, is hiring an Automotive Technician specializing in Hybrid and Electric vehicles. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and a commitment to customer service. We are hiring for EV / Hybrid experienced Automotive Technicians

Automotive Technician Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician working Hybrid and or electric vehicles
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with the latest automotive technologies and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and high-quality work. -
• Ability to work full time with the flexibility to work an occasional Saturday.
• A proven track record of achieving or surpassing productivity targets (80-100 hours per pay period).
• Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
• Pre-employment drug test / background check

The Automotive Technician we are looing for:

● EV and/ or Hybrid experience

● High level of integrity while performing extensive diagnostics and repairs

● Deliver exceptional workmanship

● Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and Bureau of Automotive Repair standards

● Explain mechanical / electrical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.

● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicles and their service needs, as well as all applicable factory recalls and service bulletins

●Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean and treated with respect.

● Collaborate with the parts department to obtain needed parts

● Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
