Associate, Junior Debt Investment

Portfolio Advisors is seeking an Associate, Junior Debt Investment in Darien, CT. The role involves analyzing investment opportunities, financial modeling, due diligence, and assisting with transaction execution. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity. The Associate will be involved in all aspects of investment transactions, including diligence, financial modeling, execution and post-closing investment monitoring. The Associate will be an integral part of the investment team and is responsible for many important aspects of live transactions, including analyzing investment opportunities, building financial models, drafting investment committee materials and assisting with transaction closing.

Responsibilities:
• Analyzing investment opportunities
• Building financial models
• Conducting business, industry and financial due diligence
• Drafting and presenting investment committee memoranda
• Assist deal negotiation and execution
• Monitoring portfolio company performance

Job Requirements:
• 1-2 years of Investment Banking or Private Equity experience required
• Industry Coverage, Financial Sponsors group experience or a strong credit background is a plus
