Job Description

Montana State University is seeking an Assistant Professor for Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems in Bozeman, MT. Responsibilities include teaching courses on sustainable food and bioenergy, conducting research, advising students, and engaging in community service. The position is full-time with a salary range of $50K–$80K per year.
Duties And Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities in the Sustainable Foods and Bioenergy Systems program may include:
• Introduction to Sustainable Food/Bioenergy Systems
• Sustainable Food Systems
• Food System Resilience
• Ethnobotany

Other professional responsibilities may include:
• Scholarship related to discipline
• Department/college/university and community service
• Undergraduate/graduate advisement
• Supervision of field experiences
• Supervision of research projects or thesis
• Collaboration on external funding opportunities with colleagues within and outside of the department
