Job Description

Scatec is seeking an Asset Manager in Pakistan to oversee the management of renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include financial performance monitoring, contract administration, stakeholder engagement, and team development. The role requires a qualified CA or ACCA with 3–6 years of relevant experience in asset management or project finance, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
Overview
Key Responsibilities



Lead the commercial, contractual, financial, and operational management of Scatec's renewable energy projects in Pakistan throughout the project lifecycle.


Manage Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and ensure compliance with shareholder agreements, financing agreements, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.


Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including lenders, regulators, contractors, service providers, and Board of Directors.


Monitor project financial performance, including P&L, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis, to ensure expected returns.


Administer project financing agreements, loan disbursements, equity contributions, debt servicing, and compliance with financing covenants.


Prepare and manage project budgets, financial models, periodic financial reports, and support monthly and quarterly group reporting.


Oversee contract administration for EPC, O&M, PPA, financing, management service, and other project agreements.


Identify and implement initiatives to improve plant performance, operational efficiency, profitability, and cost optimization.


Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, environmental, social (ESG), HSSE, and corporate governance requirements.


Coordinate with internal teams including Finance, Technical, Legal, Development, HSSE, Regulatory, and Operations to achieve project objectives.


Support project development activities through financial close by ensuring asset management requirements, budgets, and governance standards are incorporated.


Manage stakeholder engagement with government authorities, local communities, landowners, lenders, and other external parties.


Prepare Board reports, management presentations, and project performance updates for senior management.


Maintain project documentation, statutory records, reporting systems, and corporate filings.


Lead, mentor, and develop the Asset Management team while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Support new project evaluations by preparing operational budgets, benchmarking costs, and incorporating lessons learned into future developments.



Qualifications & Experience





Qualified CA or ACCA.


3–6 years of relevant experience in asset management, project finance, infrastructure, power, or renewable energy sectors.


Strong understanding of project finance, financial modelling, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.


Excellent stakeholder management, communication, contract management, and analytical skills.


Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Business Intelligence tools.



Fluent in written and spoken English.
