Luxus is seeking an experienced Architectural Interior Designer in Chesapeake, VA. The role involves leading the interior design process for various projects, collaborating with clients and contractors, producing detailed construction documents, and managing project budgets and schedules. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in design software. What You'll Do:
• Design Visionary: Lead the interior design process for a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and hospitality spaces.
• Creative Collaborator: Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to develop design concepts that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
• Technical Guru: Produce detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to building codes and regulations.
• Material Master: Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that complement the overall design aesthetic and meet project requirements.
• Project Maestro: Manage projects from concept to completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, and quality control.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

Must-Haves:
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in architectural interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-Haves:
• NCIDQ certification.
• LEED accreditation.
• Experience with a variety of project types.
• Portfolio showcasing your exceptional design talent.
