Application Engineer

Piper Maddox is hiring an Application Engineer in Oak Grove, NC, for their EV Charging division. As part of this next phase of their growth, they're adding an Application Engineer to their team who will be customer facing and oversee the deployment of their EV Charging solutions.
• This role is fully onsite in North Carolina.
• Visa sponsorships/transfers can be provided for this role

Key Responsibilities 🔨:
• Provide technical DC Fast Charging project support
• Build relationships with customers to ensure the successful deployment of their EV Charging solutions
• Ensure OCPP standards are met
• Work cross functionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience 📑:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 1 year min professional experience in the DC Fast Charging space (MUST HAVE)
• Strong knowledge of protocols & technical standards of OCPP
• Strong communication and relationship building skills to work in a customer facing role

Nice to have ⭐:
• Experience with power electronics and electrical systems in DC Fast Charging
