Position Overview

Maple Leaf Nurseries is looking for skilled and reliable Full-Time and Part-Time AZ Truck Drivers to join our team. The primary responsibility of the AZ Truck Driver will be to safely transport plants to customers within Ontario, Quebec, and Northern USA. This is a local delivery role where you will be home daily, with occasional overnight runs if desired. A valid passport and cross-border experience are considered assets but are not mandatory.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate an AZ truck to deliver plants to customer locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
• Load and unload plants using proper equipment and techniques.
• Handle rolling racks and assist customers in unloading the truck.
• Represent the company professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Start time: 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM, same truck assigned daily.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate delivery needs.

Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of verifiable driving experience as an AZ Truck Driver.
• License: Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must provide a current driver’s abstract.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays during the spring season.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
