With a focus on climate resilience with Design & Engineering Consultancy, we tackle complex international projects. What will you do
• To provide solid support to the DAG in building a strong AG both in terms of technical excellence and project management
• Assist the DAG and the Director Business Development in winning work for WATER AG
• End responsible for all projects assigned to the Climate Resilience, Design & Engineering (D&E) Cluster, in terms of financial result, time, quality, client satisfaction, etc
• Recognising industry best practice and standards, statutory requirements, internal best practice, research & development, client and stakeholder expectations and competitor developments.
• To organise and grow technical knowledge within the business units by securing and sharing basic knowledge and identifying and developing new knowledge areas based on market and industry developments and client needs.
In addition
• End responsible for proposal preparations assigned to the Advisory Group (AG) incl. timely upload to Drive-to-Win
• Final approver of time sheets, expense claims etc. from members of the AG
• Responsible for project financial forecasts of the projects in the AG
• Ensure that the staff has appropriate capabilities and adequate experience, training, and qualifications to effectively produce the design documentation in current and upcoming projects and manage the projects.
• Allocate staff to projects based on technical skill and expertise in the projects.
• Control and supervision of the project delivery in time and cost constraints in coordination with appointed Lead Architect/Engineer or Architect/Engineer.
• Complaints handling for all activities (internal and/or external) in the D&E team
• Motivate the Engineering staff in the project to constantly meet quality of working standards & deliverables.
• Conduct regular D&E team meetings.
Key responsibilities on the project
• Achieve the yearly target capacity utilization rates of the team members and the efficiency of staff occupancy within the Advisory Group (AG), in line with the budget or adjusted targets if instructed by the DAG.
• Manage the Climate Resilience Design & Engineering (D&E) Cluster, take responsibility for development of the D&E team at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
• Lead the D&E Cluster as defined in the HR policy, within the framework of RHDHV HR policy and in consultation with the HR department in order to achieve an appropriate qualitative and quantitative staffing of the department.
• Take responsibility to assure QHSE, well-being and good working environment of the staff in the Project Team.
• Ensure the D & E cluster having adequate knowledge in term of technical capabilities, personal qualifications, relevant software and updated D & E manual.
• Ensure the knowledge and intellectual property manage internally.
• In Cooperation with India Business Development Director & DAG to maintain contacts with existing clients and develop contacts with new clients in the framework of RHDHV’s Business Development strategy, in order to detect opportunities, acquire new commissions, replenish the order portfolio and expand RHDHV’s reputation

What you bring
• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is essential, along with a Master's degree in water resources/environmental engineering.
• Demonstrated minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in managing a complex projects within India.
• Proven leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams of national and international experts.
• At least 10 years of experience working in leadership roles on ADB, World Bank, or other IFI-financed projects in India.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate, consolidate, and quality-assure inputs from technical specialists across disciplines.
