At Keywords Studios we are looking for an accomplished, enthusiastic and self-motivated Environment Artist to join our team working on an exciting, new and unannounced project.


Responsibilities An Environment Artist at Keywords Studios:


Creates high-quality environment art with a strong emphasis on lighting, mood, and atmosphere.
Builds, iterates, and optimises lighting setups that support gameplay, narrative, and artistic direction.
Collaborates closely with art direction, level design, and tech art to ensure lighting enhances spatial readability and performance.
Authors and maintains lighting passes, post-processing profiles, and environment shaders/materials as needed.
Troubleshoots lighting issues related to performance, consistency, or technical constraints across platforms.
Contributes to visual benchmarks and helps establish best practices for lighting workflows.
