About the Speaker

Chandni is a researcher and faculty member at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), Bangalore. Her research examines the human dimensions of global environmental change focusing on drivers of vulnerability to climate change, linkages between climate change adaptation and development, and human migration. She is a Lead Author on the IPCC Assessment Report 6 Working Group II and Coordinating Lead Author on the UNEP Adaptation Gap Report. She holds a PhD in International Development from the University of Reading, UK and an MSc in Natural Resource Management from TERI University.
