Job Description
TasNetworks is seeking a Works Management Planning Specialist in Devonport, TAS, Australia, offering a base salary starting from $118,000 per annum. The role involves developing and coordinating electrical distribution maintenance plans, requiring an electrical trade qualification and experience in high-risk work programs. Proficiency in SAP and advanced computer skills are essential. The position is permanent full-time with benefits including professional development and flexible work arrangements.
About The Role
Band 4 - base salary from $118,000 per annum (plus super) - total package to be negotiated with preferred candidate based on skills and experience
As a Works Management Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the development, coordination and communication of Electrical distribution maintenance and operational resource plans. Your focus will be on ensuring alignment with established Work Management frameworks, risk governance protocols, and relevant Australian industry standards.
About You
To be successful as a Works Management Planning Specialist, you will hold an electrical trade qualification, coupled with your proven experience working in a similar role, managing a portfolio of high-risk work programs within a maintenance or construction environment. Exposure to power station operations or maintenance will be advantageous.
You will demonstrate proven capability and experience in the following areas –
• A self-motivated, proactive team player who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in SAP, IFS and ESRI geospatial tools, with a track record of high performance in maintenance and materials planning
• Practical hands on experience with fixed plant and refining equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and drive effective, collaborative solutions
• Advanced computer literacy, particularly in the MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word, with the ability to work with complex sets of data
