Job Description
TasNetworks is hiring a Works Delivery Manager in Rocherlea, TAS, Australia. This full-time role involves managing and delivering work programs while liaising with internal teams. Candidates should have a Distribution Trade qualification and leadership or project management experience. The position offers a salary of $131,241, a 9-day fortnight, and various employee benefits, including career development and leave entitlements.

We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.
About the role
Band 4 Role – Salary of $131,241 + Super, including a 9-day fortnight
The Works Delivery Manager combines their trade-based and works management skills to effectively build, manage and deliver our program of work. The Works Delivery Manager works closely with various internal stakeholders, including the Works Management and Field Delivery teams.
Our works management process has recently been updated, and now is an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of how work is managed, delivering works safely and meeting customer needs.
You’ll be involved in customer liaison and managing the workflow between the Works Management Team (Planning) and the Field Operations Works Delivery Team. This is an important role in ensuring we have a safe and efficient schedule of work.
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll hold a Distribution Trade qualification (essential), coupled with a Cert-IV Leadership or Project Management qualification (or a closely related field) or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and skills (desirable).
You'll possess strong safety leadership capability within a similar role, the ability to schedule and prioritise work situations with driving results at the forefront of your work.
Our preferred candidate will carry extensive business insight skills with a proven track record of effectively using SAP or comparable systems to analyse workflows, monitor current metrics and enhance performance.
