The Role
We’re seeking to engage a detail-orientated Workplace Lead for our Perth Office. In this role, you’ll spend your time providing professional client-focused support while overseeing operational activities concerning the commercial, financial, and facilities aspects of the workplace environment, ensuring alignment with established authority, quality assurance standards and guidelines. In addition, you’ll see yourself working alongside our opportunity and project teams when the need arises.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain and optimise the physical workspace and facilities;
• Provide effective leadership of the team to ensure optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development;
• With guidance from the Team Lead, Regional Operations, maintain and optimise workplace operations including commercial, financial, and facilities management, with an emphasis on identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs;
• Deliver engaging first-day operations inductions for all new staff members using the national standard process;
• Collaborate with the Area Manager to plan and carry out impactful events;
• Facilitate both scheduled and ad hoc events across regional offices;
• Promote and actively encourage employee engagement across all activities to cultivate an inclusive workplace culture;
• Ensure that all events are planned and communicated with sufficient notice to allow employees to attend;
• Foster a culture of confidence by actively providing high quality operations support, dedication and consistent application at a high professional standard;
• Cultivate and maintain relationships to bolster collaboration, unify our approach to change and continuous improvement, and foster cohesion across the group, business lines and partners.
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
• Minimum TAFE qualifications or equivalent, with course work in business curriculum
• People management and team building abilities;
• Strong client service focus;
• Excellent written and verbal communication;
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision;
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment;
• Intermediate to Advanced level in Microsoft applications;
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in financial applications, highly regarded.
