King & Wood Mallesons is hiring a Workplace Consultant for a casual contract in Sydney, NSW. The role involves supporting daily operations, including deliveries, desk moves, and maintaining office spaces. Ideal candidates are problem-solvers with strong customer service skills and attention to detail. The position requires physical capability for lifting items and offers exposure to exciting projects within a supportive team environment. Shifts are rostered Monday to Friday.

Role Detail

The Workplace Consultant oversees key operational tasks, from deliveries and desk moves to restocking supplies, archiving, and maintaining shared spaces. Since you’ll be responsible for ensuring well-presented, safe, and secure office areas, excellent attention to detail and top-notch communication skills will be key. You will also assist the Hospitality and Client Services teams with room set ups for functions and other ad hoc tasks from time to time.

Please note - This role does require you to be comfortable lifting of heavy boxes and furniture.

Along with day-to-day operations, there will be the opportunity to get exposure to exciting projects and collaborate with our dynamic project teams.

This role is offered on a casual basis; any shifts will be rostered between Monday – Friday inclusive.

About You

We’d also love to see:
• Preferred but not essential - experience in a similar role (such as corporate facilities/mailroom/operations) or transferable skills from roles such as customer service officer or office junior
• Strong computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office software – technical skills are a big plus
• Physical ability to lift and transport various items
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
• A commitment to excellent client service, displaying professionalism and courtesy
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask
• Demonstrated team focus and ability to build relationships with peers and stakeholders
• A flexible, proactive approach with the ability think logically, problem solve, and take initiative
• Exposure to a professional services or legal environment an advantage but not essential
