Brief Description

WIT Scientist/Database Programmer II

Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)

Compensation: $34.86 - $54.86 per hour, depending on experience

LRE Water is seeking a Database Programmer to support water resource projects by developing analytical tools, managing environmental data, and applying programming solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Collect and analyze environmental data, including streamflow, water quality, GIS, and groundwater monitoring data.
• Develop data management tools, automation scripts, and visualization models.
• Support database development and SQL programming using PostgreSQL.
• Assist in programming tasks using Python, R, and JavaScript.
• Work with engineers and scientists to enhance data systems.
• Document processes and implement quality control measures.

Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL databases, Python, R, GIS, and automation scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, React, and JavaScript is a plus.
