Nordex, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking a motivated Wind Service Technician to join its team in Tioga, ND at the Aurora Wind Project. This location is offering a $5,000 net signing bonus plus relocation assistance and $1,000 net monthly housing allowance.

As a Wind Service Technician, you will be on the front lines of renewable energy – performing hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to keep turbines operating safely and efficiently. This role plays a key part in supporting the mission of Nordex.

Job Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain wind turbine generators and related equipment at the wind farm
• Perform preventative maintenance activities safely and efficiently on wind turbines and associated equipment
• Assist in Root Cause Analyses to determine equipment failures
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation for corrective and preventative maintenance

Job Requirements:
• HS diploma/GED required
• Wind, technical, or engineering certification/degree preferred
• At least 1 year of wind experience
• Valid driver’s license and U.S. Passport (or willing to obtain a passport)
• Willingness to travel for training and site needs
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and outside normal business hours as needed
• Meet the weight requirement 120kg (265lbs.) or less to safely utilize climbing equipment and climbing gear
• Pass a pre-employment physical to ensure the ability to perform job functions safely
