Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Wind Farm Technician located in Redcliff, AB. The Wind Farm Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of wind turbine equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs, inspecting and servicing turbines, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures. The technician will also be responsible for documenting maintenance activities, ordering parts as needed, assisting with the commissioning of new turbines, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications
• Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience in wind turbine maintenance and repair
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
• Documentation and record-keeping skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Relevant certifications and technical training in wind energy or related fields
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in renewable energy or engineering is a plus
