Wind Energy Analyst

Clearway Energy, Inc. seeks a Wind Energy Analyst in Scottsdale, AZ, to support wind energy project commercialization. Responsibilities include due diligence on investments, financial performance management, and project integration. Our portfolio comprises approximately 11.6 GW of gross generating capacity in 26 states, including 9.1 GW of wind, solar, and battery energy storage assets, and over 2.5 GW of conventional dispatchable power generation providing critical grid reliability services.

As a Wind Energy Analyst, you will be part of our commercial management team responsible for commercializing wind energy projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Due Diligence on New Project Investments: Supporting project evaluations, contract reviews, and due diligence to make recommendations on acquisitions, divestitures, and investments.
• Financial & Performance Management: Providing P&L analysis and economic performance for generating assets within your assigned portfolio.
• Project Integration: Coordinating with business development, finance, and construction management teams to ensure smooth transition of projects into commercial operation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, business/market analysis, project valuation, project/business administration, project management, or a related field.
• Experience reading regulatory or legal documents.
• Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to occasionally travel to company or project locations.
