Wetland Scientist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wetland Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or a related field, and possess extensive experience in wetland delineation, project management, and permitting. Responsibilities
• Conduct wetland delineation field work.
• Manage projects independently, including field work and project management.
• Handle wetland impact permitting.
• Utilize GPS, GIS, and AutoCAD for project tasks.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings effectively.
• Travel periodically for project needs.
Essential Skills
• BS Degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or a related field.
• 5 or more years of related wetland experience, including wetland delineation field work, project management, and wetland impact permitting.
• Experience with GPS, GIS, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
• Ability to manage projects independently, including field work.
• Willingness to travel periodically.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in ecology, environmental science, and environmental compliance.
• Skills in soil sampling, wetland delineation, wetland restoration, and wetland mitigation.
• Knowledge of environmental remediation, environmental monitoring, and due diligence.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
