Weekday Grinder

Republic of Green is hiring for a full-time Weekday Grinder position in Norway, ME. Responsibilities include washing, grinding, chipping, and preparing metal for paint. Candidates should be able to operate a forklift and lift up to 50 lbs. This entry-level role offers advancement potential and a full benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off. The work schedule is four ten-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday.

Loadmaster is a rapidly growing national manufacturer of refuse trucks with customers all over the country. Garbage never stops; it always needs to be picked up no matter the weather or the economy, and our products play an integral role in that process. Some of our customers include major cities and hauling companies who depend on our products in order to keep their cities, parks, and towns clean and healthy.

We are hiring for full-time positions in the paint department.
Duties include
• Washing
• Grinding
• Chipping
• General metal preparation for paint
• Wire wheeling
• Using a needle gun
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Lift up to 50 Lbs.
• Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

This is an entry-level position with the potential to advance to industrial painter or welder.

The ideal candidate will have familiarity with automotive and/or industrial painting equipment & processes; however, this is not required.

Pre-employment drug testing is required.

We work (4) ten-hour shifts Monday through Thursday and overtime on Fridays as needed.
