Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
• Designing and developing engineering solutions for drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects in both public and private sectors.
• Assisting with planning, permitting, and regulatory compliance for municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Conducting technical analysis and computations to support project design and implementation.
• Preparing reports, construction documents, permit applications, and technical specifications.
• Collaborating with clients and regulatory authorities to present project proposals and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Performing field investigations, including construction site visits and data collection.
• Supporting construction management activities and material testing.
• Applying engineering principles to assess project risks and recommend viable solutions.

Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (or similar)
• EIT certification required
• 2+ years of experience in civil/environmental engineering, ideally in water/wastewater
• Experience with AutoCAD and engineering design tools preferred
• Knowledge of permitting and regulations for water/wastewater projects
• Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting/presentations via Teams or in person.
