Job Description
We are actively seeking an experienced Water / Wastewater Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of infrastructure and construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in electrical construction, controls, and instrumentation within the water/wastewater sector. The right candidate will play a critical role in delivering successful projects by leading coordination, execution, and stakeholder engagement from preconstruction through close-out. Responsibilities
Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, scheduling, and project close-out
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project contracts, stakeholders, and key priorities
Prepare and submit monthly project status reports outlining progress, risks, and critical issues
Develop and manage project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
Secure required permits and verify subcontractor insurance compliance
Schedule and facilitate project meetings to ensure effective coordination and execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, and project partners
Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
Support business development efforts through participation in proposals and presentations
Qualifications
8+ years of construction experience required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience managing projects from start to finish successfully
Experience with electrical installation projects in the water/wastewater industry
Strong understanding of controls, instrumentation, P&ID drawings, and SCADA systems
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field
Experience working for an electrical contractor on large-scale construction projects
Experience with complex infrastructure or industrial environments
Familiarity with alternative delivery methods and sustainability practices
