Job Description

Mead & Hunt is seeking a full-time Water/Wastewater Client/Project Manager in Seattle, WA. This role involves managing client projects, engineering design, mentoring staff, and business development within the water industry. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least five years of experience, and a PE license. Travel up to 25% is required. Responsibilities:

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing exciting success and sustainable growth in the Pacific Northwest. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a Water/Wastewater Client/Project Manager focused on water and wastewater services in our One Water Group.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage current clients related to obtaining and executing projects
• Project management, coordination and liaison for project work obtained
• Engineering design and development of calculations, reports, plans, and specifications
• Mentor and provide technical guidance and advice for less experienced technical staff
• Maintain familiarity with technical requirements and regulations affecting the assigned industry and other potential consulting opportunities
• Market work within the water industry and recognize potential opportunities to cross-market with other business lines
• Maintain contact with past clients and pursue potential new clients within the water industry

Travel will be required (up to 25%).

The successful candidate must have:
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in environmental or civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university AND at least five (5) years (10+ preferred) of relevant work experience
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
• Experience with client management
• Project management experience
• Experience with business development
• Experience with mentoring less experienced technical staff
• Oregon and/or Washington PE license

Salary Range: $110,000 to $150,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
