Job Summary:

A Water-Wastewater Engineer with up to five years of experience is needed at Shive-Hattery's Bettendorf office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction engineering plans and drawings, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Senior Engineers with entry-level engineering tasks, including preparing facility plans, master planning reports, specifications, and design drawings for water and wastewater projects.
• Design water and wastewater treatment plants, treatment equipment, water wells, and distribution systems.
• Conduct onsite construction administration and observation services, including reporting and monitoring contractor compliance.
• Work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam passed or scheduled to take, with official Engineer Intern designation from the State of Iowa/Illinois.
• Strong service orientation towards clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively, prioritizing tasks with attention to detail.
