New Wave Energy Services Group is hiring a Water Transfer Technician for their Carlsbad, NM location. The role involves setting up transfer sites, operating tools and equipment, conducting safety checks, and maintaining water transfer lines and tanks. Candidates should have some experience in oil and gas and a valid driver's license is preferred. The position is full-time with a pay range of $14.00 - $18.00 per hour and includes benefits.
We are hiring for our Carlsbad, New Mexico yard locations.

Water Transfer Technician’s work under the direction of Water Transfer Supervisor. They are given day to day instruction, examples and guidance on how to set up transfer sites. They are required to perform job needs and operate hand and power tools safely, ensuring quality of workmanship and inspecting finished jobs to assure quality control standards are met. (Some employees may be considered a green-hand if they are still within their 3-month probation time and are considered green workers. They will no longer be considered a green-hand after their 3-month probation or if they are deemed competent prior to the three months being up.)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate equipment, trailers, pickup trucks and delivery trucks as required
• Maintaining and checking levels on water transfer lines and water storage tanks
• Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of equipment as directed
• Receive oral instructions from Water Transfer Supervisor or Operations Manager on work assignments, materials and equipment needs
• Perform pre-operational checks on equipment such as inspect lines and equipment for possible leaks or damages as directed
• Use hand, power tools and equipment following specifications
• Be an active participant in pre-job safety meetings
• Follow safe work and good housekeeping practices
• Complete and turn in paperwork as required
• Understand and comply with corporate policies and procedures, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and other requirements/regulations as required
• Maintain cleanliness and perform minor maintenance on equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order always. Report deficiencies to maintenance staff should it be required
• Operate and drive unit to and from work sites, completing pre-trip and journey management.
• Perform all duties as required / assigned by Water Transfer Supervisor
• Complete tool box inventory inspection prior to driving
• Organize equipment in yard, when assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
