Russell Tobin is seeking a Water Stewardship Program Manager to lead global water sustainability initiatives. Location: Remote – San Francisco, CA
Duration: Through Mid/End of December 2025
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, PST Business Hours
Pay Rate: $120 - $144 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Water Stewardship Program Manager to support the development and execution of global water sustainability initiatives. This role will focus on program implementation, tracking and reporting progress, and engaging cross-functional teams to drive water stewardship efforts forward.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support internal teams in implementing strategies to advance 2030 Replenish and Watershed Health Targets.
• Lead global tracking, reporting, and communication efforts related to water stewardship, including managing internal reporting tools.
• Engage with cross-functional teams such as Data Centers, Real Estate, Public Policy, Communications, and Supply Chain to foster collaboration on water stewardship initiatives.
• Evaluate product and technology opportunities that align with water security solutions, working with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with external reporting and disclosures, working closely with the Sustainability Reporting Team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, sustainability, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in stakeholder engagement within the water stewardship field (e.g., NGOs, utilities, corporations).
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills, with experience presenting to corporate leadership.
• Proven ability to navigate complex scenarios and drive programmatic design recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in environmental studies, water management, or sustainability.
• Advanced knowledge of emerging water sustainability trends, including nature-based solutions, ecosystem services, impact measurement, and regenerative agriculture.
• Experience working in a global corporate sustainability role with a focus on water initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
