About the position

The Water Specialist position at Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa offers a unique opportunity for individuals to engage in hands-on conservation work while developing essential skills in soil and water resources. As a Water Specialist, you will work closely with natural resource professionals and partner agencies, including the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, and Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD). Throughout your term, you will participate in various conservation projects that focus on improving access to outdoor recreation, restoring natural habitats, and protecting waterways. You will receive direct supervision from Conservation Corps Program staff and your partner site supervisor, ensuring that you have the guidance and support needed to succeed in your role. Responsibilities
