About the position
The Natural Resource Manager (NRM) at BlueTriton Brands is a pivotal role that requires a professional with a strong scientific background and the ability to navigate complex relationships in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for managing existing water supplies, exploring new water supply opportunities, and developing new water sources. The NRM must be an autonomous individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership capabilities, and both tactical and strategic thinking skills. The role demands a well-organized, collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused approach to ensure the sustainable use of water resources while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards. The NRM will be based at one of three bottling facilities in Florida, specifically in Zephyrhills, High Springs, or Lee, and will require approximately 40% statewide travel. The position involves frequent travel to other BlueTriton bottling facilities and spring water sources within Florida, with occasional travel to facilities outside the state. The NRM will manage resources to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements, including conducting periodic internal and external audits, providing technical guidance, and maintaining quality standards. The role also includes maintaining existing water source sites, coordinating the work of contractors and consultants, and managing the identification and development of new spring water sources. In addition to technical responsibilities, the NRM will develop and maintain business relationships with third-party water source owners and engage with local, regional, state, and federal government entities. The position also requires managing the budget for the geographic area of responsibility and preparing accurate monthly financial forecasts, as well as participating in the planning and execution of capital projects.
Responsibilities
• Manage existing water supplies and explore new water supply opportunities.

• Develop new water sources and ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

• Maintain all existing water source sites, including site security, operations, and environmental monitoring.

• Coordinate and manage the work of contractors, consultants, and employees effectively.

• Manage tactical and long-term spring water capacity objectives for producing locations.

• Identify, monitor, test, permit, and develop new spring water sources and non-spring water supplies.

• Develop and maintain business relationships with third-party water source owners.

• Engage with local, regional, state, and federal government and regulatory entities.

• Manage the budget for the geographic area and prepare monthly financial forecasts.

• Participate in the development, planning, execution, and financial management of capital projects.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Hydrogeology, or an Engineering degree with significant experience in clean water supply work.

• Ten or more years of related experience in water resource development and management.

• Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills.

• Leadership experience, as the position may have direct reports.

• Good computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications.
