Trihydro Corporation is seeking an entry-to-mid-level water resource engineer to join its Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit. If you're a civil, water resources, environmental, or natural resources engineer looking to be part of a growing team, we encourage you to apply.

As a member of our team, you will assist with evaluating and developing surface and groundwater resources that support agricultural, municipal, and industrial water supplies; flood control and floodplain management; dam design; and environmental uses. Responsibilities include:
• Performing technical research, design calculations, and data analysis
• Conducting geomorphological assessments and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
• Field data collection
• Drafting figures and preparing construction plan sets and specifications
• Writing technical memorandums and reports, and permit applications
• Developing cost estimates

Position Qualifications:
• 0-5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, water resources engineering, environmental engineering, natural resources, or related field (master's degree preferred)
• Degree coursework focused on hydrology/hydraulics
• Engineer-in-training (E.I.T.) or plans to obtain E.I.T. within 6 months
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or plans to obtain P.E. in the future
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SewerGems, GIS, or other hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software is preferred, but not required
• Strong initiative to complete tasks and motivation to learn
• Ability to produce high-quality deliverables with attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to handle assignments and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• A history of positive team interactions and an ability to work well with others
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices
• Commitment to a safe workplace
