Water Quality Scientist/Engineer, South LA, $120,000-140,000 + equity + healthcare

Water Quality Scientist sought for a fast-growth startup business who are hugely scaling and are massively mission driven - focused on water sustainability and science through groundbreaking technology & innovation. The Water (Quality) Scientist will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the water produced by systems by setting/running up a water testing lab.

As a Water Quality Scientist you will be pivotal in designing and running a lab-based water quality testing system to ensure water quality standards. You will also have the chance to contribute to cutting-edge membrane technology. This role will work closely with the engineering & R&D teams to support system integration and troubleshoot technical issues.

Location: South LA, Westmont

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on the design and optimization of desalination processes
• Implement water treatment protocols and consider reverse osmosis and filtration
• Stay updated on advancements in water treatment technologies and solution

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Eng or related field
• Knowledge & hands on experience with water testing and/or desalination systems
• Lab skills - able to design and manage lab based water testing including pH and TDS
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to assessing water safety

This role is offering between $120,000-140,000 depending on experience + equity + healthcare plus other benefits
