As our Water Environment Lead, based in the UK, you will report to the Director of Water and help grow the team and the business, building on the capabilities of Egis water and engineering professionals around the world.As an ambitious professional with plenty of experience, you will have a background in the UK Water Sector with a good understanding of the challenges it faces as it adapts to a changing climate and increasing population. Your role will involve working with the UK Director of Water to help foster growth within our core team, collaborating with peers across all disciplines and developing existing and new relationships with clients to maximize our combined offerings and secure new wins.What you’ll doNetwork and support business development opportunitiesContribute to UK Water Strategy to identify growth areas and opportunitiesSupport in recruitment and development of teamDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholdersProvide technical and expert advice to clients, manage and deliver projectsCollaborate with wider Egis teams to develop market leading and innovative services to our clientsKey AttributesHands on, delivery and client focusedEnergised with a positive and strong work ethicExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsAbility to build relationships with and manage internal and external stakeholdersExcellent business development and work winning skillsPeople management and team leadership experienceDecisive and calm under pressureQualificationsEducation to degree level or higher, BSc/MSc in environmental/water management, engineering or related subjectsChartered member of a professional institution such as CIWEM, Society for Environment etc.Demonstrable client, contractor or consultancy experience in UK Water SectorExperience in Blue-Green Infrastructure, including SuDS, green outfalls, wetland treatmentExperience in water resource and flood risk managementExperience in water quality management, monitoring and improvementWINEP-related project experienceExperience in nature-based solutions, BNG, river restorationSustainability and carbon reduction experienceAdditional InformationPlease upload your Resume, Cover Letter and any other supporting documentation where asked within your application.
