Job Description

As a Waste Transfer Station Attendant you will greet and guide customers in disposing their waste efficiently and effectively, and ensure our waste streams are kept sorted, tidy and safe; providing a high standard of service to our growing community.
This casual position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and has the flexibility to cover shifts as needed. In addition to covering leave for other staff, you’ll have two set shifts every fortnight, currently a Tuesday (8.5 hours) and Friday (8.5 hours).

• $31.01 per hour base rate (plus 25% casual loading, weekend penalty rates and Adverse Working Conditions Allowance)

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

• Cash handling experience
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Good level of fitness including capacity for lifting

Previous experience in Re-use, Waste or Recycling related fields and loader operation will be highly regarded.
