Job Description

CR Sustainability, Inc. is seeking a Waste Sorting Site Supervisor in Kansas City, MO, to lead waste diversion operations at a major venue. This on-site role involves supervising staff during events, ensuring efficient waste sorting, and maintaining safety standards. The supervisor must be present during events, make real-time decisions, and support the team. Flexibility for travel and varying shifts is required, as the job is tied to the venue's event calendar.
Who We Are & Why This Role Matters:

CR Sustainability manages waste diversion operations at major venues across the country. In Kansas City, we support one of the city’s largest sports and entertainment venues during games, concerts, and special events. Our teams help ensure trash, recycling, and compost are handled correctly while keeping thousands of pounds of material out of landfills.

We are growing quickly and looking for strong leaders who can build teams, run operations, and deliver results in fast-paced environments. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall success of one primary venue operation. This is an on-site leadership role. You are expected to be physically present during events, directing the team, monitoring execution, solving problems in real time, and ensuring the operation runs safely and successfully.

This is not a desk job and not a stand-back position. You lead from the field, maintain standards, and step in when needed to keep the team moving.

Ensure timekeeping records are accurate and submitted timely
Document incidents, injuries, staffing concerns, and operational issues as needed
Step into hands-on operational support when volume is high, staffing is short, or the team needs immediate help
While this role is centered on one primary venue, flexibility to travel and support other company locations is required when business needs arise
Travel may be needed for major events, temporary coverage, training support, or new site launches
