Job description

Inter-Island Solar Supply is seeking a highly reliable, resourceful, and self-motivated Warehouse Technician to support our warehouse operations and help the company continue to succeed. The position will be based in our Kahului Warehouse location on Maui.

The Warehouse Technician works under the direct supervision of theMaui Branch Manager. The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, moving materials to designated locations using automated tools, packing orders as required and daily deliveries. Candidates will be required to take initiative and be accountable for quality of work.

Reliability, time management, problem solving, attention to detail and desire to learn and grow with the company are essential. Working experience with forklifts, warehouse vehicles, and digital handheld devices is highly valuable.

Responsibilities:

· Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality based on purchase orders.

· Store materials in designated locations using appropriate methods.

· Pick and pack orders for pick up, delivery or shipment according to customer specifications.

· Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software.

· Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

· Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.

· Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards.

· Load and unload delivery trucks and containers.

· Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

· Communicate and work collaboratively with supervisors and co-workers.

· Provide quality service by following organizational standards and procedures.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid Hawaii Driver’s License with clean driving abstract record.
• 1-3 years warehouse experience desired, will train.
• Forklift and delivery vehicle operation experience desired.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Starting salary will be commensurate with relevant experience, education, and skills.

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
