Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant and Ad-hoc Driver.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Production
Assemble and prepare kits for distribution in a safe and timely manner.

Fulfilment

Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in fulfilling the days orders.

Straw Packing
Weigh and pack straw, ensuring the bags meet the required weight and quality standards, meeting the targets set within the relevant time frames.

Warehouse Maintenance

Ensure the warehouse is kept neat and tidy whilst working and at the end of the shift. Following safe practices to ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Assist with the general upkeep of the warehouse and equipment.

Stock Management
Follow the relevant procedures for ensuring stock is used and stored correctly and report any unusual stock changes to the relevant department supervisor.

Ad-hoc Driving

As part of this role, you will be required to drive a car or van between our sites to collect and/ or deliver goods.

Role Requirements:
• Full clean UK driving license.
• Age 25+ due to insurance requirements.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
• Valid forklift license desirable but not essential.

Working Conditions:
• This role may require working in a climate controlled and non-climate controlled indoor environment, typically consistent with warehouse and farming operations.
• Physical activity required, including handling deliveries.
• Flexible working hours may be required to accommodate delivery, fulfilment and driving schedules.
• Ad-hoc driving may be required and hours will be adjusted accordingly around this.
