Job Description
Global Nomadic is seeking volunteers for an Environment and Climate Change Project in Iceland, lasting 2-12 weeks. Participants will engage in activities like cleanups, tree planting, and workshops to promote sustainability and raise environmental awareness. The program includes food, accommodation, and support but not flights or personal expenses. Volunteers will explore Iceland's landscapes while contributing to conservation efforts, gaining experience and contacts for future careers.
Location: Iceland, Duration: 2-12 weeks, Cost: from 1295 USD, Fee Includes: all food, accommodation, pre-departure + in-country support, orientation and all project related activities, Does not Include: flights, travel insurance, personal spending, visas and vaccinations, Benefits:, Take direct action against climate change through cleanups, tree planting, workshops, and research.

Based at the intersection of Iceland's West, South, and North regions, this project combines environmental action with cultural exchange. Your work will focus on education and sustainability, including activities like beach cleanups, tree planting, climate change workshops, environmental research, and even creative projects such as eco-themed artwork.
Beyond your volunteer tasks, you ll have the chance to explore Iceland s iconic landscapes from waterfalls and glaciers to black-sand beaches making your experience both impactful and unforgettable.
The minimum stay is four weeks, and the program runs from February through November.
