Job Description
Global Nomadic seeks volunteers for an Environment and Climate Change Project in Iceland, lasting 2-12 weeks. Volunteers will engage in activities like cleanups, tree planting, and workshops to promote sustainability and environmental awareness. The program includes food, accommodation, and support but does not cover flights or personal expenses. This immersive experience allows volunteers to explore Iceland's natural beauty while making a positive impact on climate change.
Location: Iceland, Duration: 2-12 weeks, Cost: from 1295 USD, Fee Includes: all food, accommodation, pre-departure + in-country support, orientation and all project related activities, Does not Include: flights, travel insurance, personal spending, visas and vaccinations, Benefits:, Take direct action against climate change through cleanups, tree planting, workshops, and research.

Based at the intersection of Iceland's West, South, and North regions, this project combines environmental action with cultural exchange. Your work will focus on education and sustainability, including activities like beach cleanups, tree planting, climate change workshops, environmental research, and even creative projects such as eco-themed artwork.
Beyond your volunteer tasks, you ll have the chance to explore Iceland s iconic landscapes from waterfalls and glaciers to black-sand beaches making your experience both impactful and unforgettable.
The minimum stay is four weeks, and the program runs from February through November.
