Volunteer Community Charity seeking Trustee with Grant application and Fundraising skills | Green Street Green Association (CIO)

The Green Street Green Association is seeking a Trustee with skills in grant applications and fundraising to support their charity, which manages the Greenwood Centre. They aim to expand their board from three to eight members to enhance community engagement and project execution. Responsibilities include leading fundraising efforts, attending annual meetings, and ensuring financial management. Commitment and creativity are essential, and the position is unpaid and remote.
Who we are The Association owns and manages the Greenwood Centre, the local village hall. The charity's purpose is to promote provision of facilities for leisure time occupations for local inhabitants.

What difference will you make?

We currently have three trustees. Ideally we would like to increase to the maximum number of eight, giving us a robust Board with diverse expertise to increase the work the charity can do and the speed with which it can achieve the projects on which it embarks. Applying for grants and fundraising, to pay for hall maintenance and to expand on our charitable activities are particular concerns for the foreseeable future.
