About the Role

The Company is seeking a Global VP of IT Applications & Architecture to lead the organization in the development, implementation, and management of information technology strategies and initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence through the simplification, standardization, automation, optimization, and security of global IT systems. This includes ERP (SAP), HRIS, manufacturing execution systems, digital control systems, industrial control systems, business warehouse and data analysis, financial consolidation, and other essential systems.

The role involves leading a large team of IT professionals and contractors, establishing global IT application standards, and managing the technology roadmap and budget processes. The VP will also be a key technology partner for both IT and business teams and will participate in the global implementation of strategic IT/OT convergence programs. Applicants for this senior leadership position must have a minimum of 10 years experience in managing IT teams, with a strong background in SAP ERP solutions and a proven track record in business transformation initiatives.

Experience in the Chemicals, Mining, or Oil & Gas industries is essential, as is the ability to manage globally dispersed teams and application-managed services outsourcing partners. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of key business functions and a collaborative management style, with excellent skills in problem-solving, team collaboration, and a proactive, change-oriented approach. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is a plus.
