About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to play a pivotal role in its mission to provide sustainable, affordable fusion power. The successful candidate will be a key member of the strategic and operational leadership team, responsible for a high-performance financial operation in a fast-paced, start-up environment. This role involves strategic planning, leading financial planning and analysis, accounting and controls, treasury, and tax strategy. The VP of Finance will also be instrumental in expanding the finance team and key functions to support the company's growth, serving as a trusted partner to the CFO and the broader leadership team.
Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' financial leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked in private capital-backed companies or newly minted public enterprises. Experience in the cleantech sector or adjacent energy markets is desirable. The role requires a proven track record in developing financial infrastructure in a high-growth or start-up environment, as well as experience in managing financial operations in a global business setting.
