Position Summary
The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis plays an ownership role in financial planning, management reporting and financial analytics efforts across the company, including consolidation of plans and forecasts for an enterprise outlook and Net Asset Value (NAV). This person provides executive management, financial sponsors, and the Board of Directors with financial reporting and analysis to be used in strategic and tactical decision making. They gather business performance data, analyzes and compares it to previous periods and targets, and develops recommendations for improvements. Additionally, this person works with various members of the operational and finance executive teams, the Board of Directors, and financial sponsors.

Essential Functions:
• Own financial short-term and long-term planning (budget, forecast, NAV) process across the enterprise including the analysis and associated recommendations.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by the executive team, financial sponsors, and the board of directors
• Present financial results and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure a consistent approach to strategic financial planning and analyses on a company wide basis to enable informed decision making and optimize capital investments
• Participate in the development of the company's plans and programs, linking longer-term strategy to the company's operational plans and cascading goals; provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making
• Work with the various operational business units and leadership team to optimize their performance and planning
• Ensure timely and accurate business/financial reports and plans
• Effective leadership fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the FP&A function and establishing FP&A brand of excellence

Qualifications

Required Skills:
• Experience and proficiency in financial modeling and conducting long-term valuation analyses across various business scenarios
• Extensive background in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a leadership capacity
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for executive leadership and board-level reporting
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
• Strong written and communications skills

Required Background:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, or finance
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with a track record of increased responsibilities in a business environment of similar or greater scale
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience

Preferred Background:
• MBA or an advanced degree in business, management, or finance
